Dairy & Dairy Producers

Dairy & dairy producers: raw milk FAT/SNF quality, quality-based producer payment, cold chain, e-Producer.

Challenges

  • The fat and solids content of incoming milk is reflected in producer payments by hand.
  • The producer receipt and the withholding-tax calculation run separately.
  • Cold-chain and expiry tracking go unrecorded.
  • Daily intake from hundreds of producers is keyed in one by one from paper or lab files.
  • In a recall, finding which raw milk batch reached which customer takes days.

Workflows

From milk collection to payment

  1. A producer account is created.
  2. Milk intake is recorded in litres along with quality values (fat / solids).
  3. A quality-linked price is applied.
  4. A producer receipt is issued and withholding tax is calculated.

Production and traceability

  1. A production order is opened and a lot is assigned.
  2. The finished product is received into stock with an expiry date.
  3. At dispatch the lot is linked to the customer.

Bulk producer intake

  1. The collection centre's Excel, XML or PDF file is uploaded.
  2. Producers are matched automatically by code, national/tax ID or name; the preview is checked.
  3. Intakes are saved in one step, priced by the tariff and approved.
  4. At period end, settlements, account and ledger entries and e-producer receipt drafts are created in bulk.

Tankers, CIP and recalls

  1. Intakes are loaded into tanker compartments and blend values are calculated.
  2. Deviations at factory delivery and sensor alarms are recorded.
  3. A production order cannot start on equipment without a valid cleaning.
  4. A problem lot is quarantined in one click and affected customers are listed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay producers a different price based on quality?

Yes. Fat and solids values are wired into the pricing rule.

Can I issue an e-Producer receipt?

Yes — the producer receipt and the withholding-tax calculation are supported.

Is there lot traceability?

Yes — a lot chain is established from production through to dispatch.

Can I keep cold-chain records?

Yes — with storage conditions and lot tracking, the shelf-life chain stays on record.

Can I get a purchase report by producer?

Yes — litres, quality and payment details accumulate on the producer's account card.

Can I import the collection centre's Excel or PDF list?

Yes. Excel, XML and PDF files are read and producers are matched automatically; intakes are saved in bulk once you approve the preview.

Can I monitor tanker and tank temperature?

Yes. Sensors send readings; threshold breaches, volume changes and long stops raise alarms.

Does it calculate cheese yield from milk analysis?

Yes. The milk required is calculated with Van Slyke, dry matter and fat balance methods and applied to the recipe as a multiplier.
