Cosmetics & Personal Care

Cosmetics & Personal Care: barcode sales and POS, stock and warehouse, customer accounts and e-Invoice.

Challenges

  • Cosmetics carry an expiry date that nobody tracks, so out-of-date product stays on the shelf.
  • Tester and sample stock is never sold yet gets used up, and it is recorded nowhere.
  • Brand consignment goods get mixed up with our own stock.
  • In set and promotional sales the stock of the items inside is not deducted separately.

Workflows

Expiry and tester management

  1. The item enters stock with its lot and expiry date.
  2. Units opened as testers are moved to a separate stock code.
  3. Stock nearing expiry and tester consumption are reported separately.

Set and promotional sales

  1. The set product is defined with the items it contains.
  2. On sale each contained item is deducted from stock individually.
  3. The promotion period and price are applied from the price list.
