Selling weighed goods
- The item is set up in kilograms and mapped to the scale barcode (weight embedded).
- Scanning at the till brings in quantity and amount automatically.
- Stock is deducted in kilograms; no unit conversion is needed.
Fresh products and expiry
- Lot and expiry date are recorded at goods receipt.
- Stock nearing expiry is reported.
- The markdown or disposal decision is posted on a slip and the loss is broken out.
Cycle count
- A partial count list is produced per aisle or product group.
- The count runs while the store is open and variances land on a slip immediately.
- The variance is closed out with a selected reason.
